Bio

Martin Gilliard is an entrepreneur and Internet industry expert.

Martin currently, is a director at 24/7 Real Media (a WPP company). He is tasked with developing the global client and professional services teams and spreading digtial capabilities across agencies, specifically in the area of technology for performance media.

Prior to joining 24/7 Real Media, Martin managed a team of strategists who provided world-class service to a multimillion dollar portfolio of clients by developing, executing and optimizing paid search campaigns at Microsoft Advertising. Hired in 2005, he helped lead the service team through the launch of the adCenter platform and staffed the client services team’s hyper growth.

Martin grew further online marketing skills while working at Yesmail (an infoUSA company), an email marketing solutions provider where he oversaw programs for the company’s major east coast accounts across multiple industries. He also worked as a senior marketing analyst for American International Group, a large fortune 100 insurance and financial services organization, managing online marketing efforts from search to email generating millions in sales. Additionally, Martin started as a web designer 1996 and founded a web design and online media strategy company, Gilliard & Associates, in 1999.

Martin received a degree from Bucknell University in Management and Studio Art. He currently lives in New York City.
